Renuven Review

Rating: ★★★½☆

Renuven

Renuven is a wrinkle cream that provides both temporary instant wrinkle concealing effects as well as long term more permanent wrinkle reduction. It has been featured in a quite a few beauty magazines before, including Flair Magazine, Vogue, Allure, Longevity Magazine, and more.

The instant wrinkle concealing effect from Renuven comes from the tiny microscopic silicon dioxide crystals used. When applied, the crystals soaks into wrinkles and the silicon particles reflects away light from the skin. When the light is reflected, there are less shadows and a lesser appearance of wrinkles.  While the wrinkles do not actually disappear, their appearance is lesser the human eye. Generally this effect starts to occur in around a minute after applying the cream and lasts for quite a few hours if the skin does not come into contact with water.

The ingredients used for longer term and more permanent wrinkle reduction in Renuven is are hyaluronic acid, almond oil, grape seed oil, green tea extract, and glycerin. Hyaluronic acid’s and almond oil extract helps keep the skin moisturized and hydrated. Green teen extract is a fairly effective antioxidant. Glycerin also helps keep the skin moisturized and soft.

Renuven is not greasy and is unscented. It is generally safe of all skin types including those with sensitive skin.

Conclusion

Renuven is a decent product for the price. Silicon dioxide based products are generally fairly effective at temporarily concealing wrinkles. However, Renuven also have long term and more permanent wrinkle reduction effects unlike other fast acting wrinkle concealers. While the ingredients for permanent wrinkle reduction aren’t the best, they are still fairly good considering the cost of Renuven.
